Granted Brookfield's portfolio isn't very encouraging but for once I'm optimistic they'll break the mould. They've indicated they wanted to do something 'befitting the site' and I can't see that being Bay Adelaide 2.0. Even an accountant could see that being a wasted opportunity. The thing I am worried will happen though is that they'll either go tall and plain or medium and bold. It would just be too good to be true if they were to actually give Calgary a new tallest of the caliber of the Bow.
