^I'm glad you pointed that out. Actually they do an amazing job at a complex that serves a lot of the students of the school that I formerly taught at. I hadn't realized that his was going to be done by them. I wish there was more money for projects like what they do that also support the parents and get them involved in the community and their child's lives. However, what about the "others" that don't work for that kind of development, those that get removed by them (and rightfully so) because they don't respect the rules??? The place that first comes to mind is the section 8 housing on east 2nd street. I also think of the huge disasters in Chicago. Fortunately we have nothing like that where 10,000 people living in extreme poverty are right on top of each other yet still I feel like they can be integrated into new developments. The city has pushed for this some but not enough.
