Also the vast majority of spectators will come in/out via shuttles. Which means maybe CoTA can strategically "stage" the route in so it doesn't look so bad from the shuttles.
Although, I suspect foreign visitors will just see it as stereotypical Texas countryside. Remember when Bush was in office and they'd broadcast from Crawford? They always used a shot with old dilapidated farm equipment in the background (basically junk). So I doubt the world will be shocked.
