Edmonton is going to look damn sweet in a couple years! Wow Canada is doing awesome. Look at all of these emerging and improving skylines we have eh?

Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary are all drastically improving.

Edmonton and Quebec City, possibly even Winnipeg will all be entering the continental stage as competitively nice-looking skylines within the decade.

and Montreal is doing quite well for itself aswell but I wouldn't call it drastic improvement. Plus it is already well up on the continental stage haha

and even our small skylines like Regina are doing outrageously well.

Here's some perspective; Canadian cities that have built there first or second tallest between 2008 and 2012(includes UC):

Toronto - Trump
Calgary - Bow
Vancouver - Shangri la
Mississauga - Absolute
Burnaby - Sovereign
Niagara Falls - Hilton
Edmonton - Epcor
Quebec City - Complexe Jules Dallaire II
Windsor - Augustus
Coquitlam - Oasis
Surrey - Infinity
Regina - Hill III
Victoria - Promontory
New Westminster - Plaza 88 I, II and III
Nanaimo - Pacifica
St. John's - Fortis

....and I'm sure there are more but I'm tired.
