askingquestions has legal contacts so he obviously knows something, these legal contacts are evidence for his argument.
Although I have never dealt with the legal system personally, I know a law student at Western and he has said pretty much the same thing about the system's slant in favour of women in these cases. It seems to be a fairly well-known issue in the legal community, at least in London.
I'd like to see statistics.
