First of all, let me re-iterate that I watched these shows as a kid, or more accurately as a middle-school student. Haven't tuned into either one in years, although occasionally I run across Youtube clips. Secondly, I didn't say
all of 22 Minutes was irritating, I just said
her skits specifically. Actually come to think of it I find them all painfully unfunny now.

Seconded. The level of quality in British programming is miles ahead of what our hapless state broadcaster can put together. I might consider watching the CBC again if they had a Canadian version of Top Gear with an unrestrained Clarkson-esque presenter who can say whatever the hell he (or she) wants without being put on a leash by the Politically Correct overseers. They can improve from there, but that would be the baseline.

Funny how when Miller was running the show, Toronto tried to convince everyone that suburban disenfranchisement was nonexistant, and the entire city was living as one big, happy family under the same socialist roof. Now that Ford is [somewhat] in control, they can't differentiate fast enough. Talk about a schizophrenic city- Londoners never went around blaming wards for electing the Witch-Queen of Fanshawe. Actually, to tell you the truth, I'm glad the downtowners are getting so pissed off with Ford. I think it's a good thing, because it means that we might actually be able to fight for de-amalgamation without having them beat down new proposals.
