The lady in the second floor of a house across the street practically lives at her window. Very seldom do I look over and not see her hanging out the front of the building. It's really just two houses across the street, but I think there's a combined 18 people living in them. When people visit them, they only knock on the door so that the tenants know to hang out the window and chat with them. Nobody ever goes in to visit, and nobody ever comes out to quietly talk on the sidewalk. All communication is done by yelling from a window to the street.
