This is kinda weather related....because we will enjoy it once the weather is better!......
This used to be a "drowning machine" for rafters, boaters etc.....now it is the new urban playground for river users! The engineers acheived this new, safe wier by reducing the initial drop on the wier, by stepping the river in sections with small dams.
This is a very exciting project for Calgary and it opens soon!
