I love that statue at Waterfront and this topic.
The statue of our former King George VI is a replica of the one that stands in London on The Mall. The UBC statue is not displayed in a such a grand setting as its London counterpart but outside a medical building on a simple concrete plinth. More info and other statues at UBC at this link -
