the funny thing is the exact opposite urks me as well, such as when we have a late heat wave at the end of September or early October where temps reach up to 25 to 28 (with a mild morning as well), and yet everyone seems dressed for mid winter with huge heavy coats and scarfs.
Bottom line is, sheep dress for the calender, intelligent humans dress for the weather
