While I agree that the John Deere building may be pretty plain from the outside, but it's exactly what many any architectural firm would desire for office space. Kindrachuk, Stantec and (to a lesser degree) AODBT have all undertaken adaptive re-uses of older industrial-type buildings for their offices. The interior of the Buckwold Building, which houses the Stantec offices, was very much like the John Deere before Stantec moved in. In fact, it still retains a lots of its character with visible form lines on the underside of slabs and some wildly out-of-plumb concrete columns.
