Miller's idea? Really? Planning for the extension predates Miller by a considerable margin. At best he had lukewarm support for the project, and only because Toronto is on the hook for less than 1/3rd of the total cost. FWIW was the Province that decided it would go past Steeles, and their funding was contingent on that aspect.

The museum station reno cost $5 million, of which the TTC had to foot approximately $1 million. I think that's a pretty fair price to pay for something that is actually fitting for one of the city's major tourist destinatins.
