the replica of the ricardo's hollywood palms hotel suite shown in the image above is from the lucy-desi playhouse in jamestown new york. the view out the window as shown in the replica set, is slightly skewed, as it appears that the hotel is located east of vine street.
the actual image used on the show was taken from the roof of desilu studios which were located at 846 Cahuenga Blvd, two blocks west of vine on willoughby avenue which is located a few blocks south of santa monica boulevard
