Private equity group pays $5.4 million for Brickell site

An investor group has purchased the site for Pointe at Brickell Village, at 1100 S. Miami Ave. (near Mary Brickell Village).
The site is approved for a 42-story, 442 foot mixed use building consisting of retail, residential and office space.

Quote from the article:
Adam Greenberg, managing director of Miami-based BayBridge Real Estate Group, which handles real estate sales and financing, agrees that the deal is another sign that the market is turning.

Another parcel of land sold that had been approved during the boom and the project died during the bust. Is a turnaround around the corner for Miami?

thanks to Sodermalm for the info & link
