Great news. It should be a National Park and I don't see why we couldn't have a limited number of visitors in on guided tours. Why should the scientist get all the fun?
By the way, why do they need to consult with the Mi'kmaq on this one? Sable Island was never part of their traditional territory and I don't see how it could infringe on any of their rights so I don't know what interest they could possible have. It's probably the only piece of land in Atlantic Canada that you can definitely say that about!
