But as he said in a post-competition interview, he did not train for years and enter the Olympics to "play it safe." He is a
competitor. He plays to win. Thus he went for it.
I have nothing but respect for him.
Now for the women's curling team, which had an opportunity in the tenth end
and the extra end to put the game away but choked both times, that is a different story.
