I had the opportunity to meet him once, really awesome guy. And the successful 2010 bid would not have been possibly for people like him and Furlong. We need more leaders like them.
My deepest condolences to Vanoc, his family, and friends.
The CBC comments are absolutely atrocious. What the hell is wrong with these people? This would be the end of society if everyone was like that.
