IMo there was a lost oppourtunity when they improved the sea-to-sky to add road pricing/tolls to it. I think that now you will have a whole bunch of vancouverites sprawling up howe sound.

something for something - i'm all for making the highway safer, but when adding capacity, especially in a corridor like the S2S, you have to toll it. perhaps have a toll just to enter west vancouver/GVRD so that locals can still commute from whistler to squamish, but i fear there will be an overload of auto-oriented development in squamish now.
