While I am not necessarily supporting the 2 per block policy, I am trying to defend the logic. My understanding is that the idea is to keep people from bar hopping and getting slammed drunk and then driving (or walking on to a private plaza
). If removing this law would lead to more drunk driving deaths, then I am probably not for it.
