I do not see what the problem is. You would walk 1 ½ km from Sears to Zellers to K-Mart and back and no one complained. You always had to hike to and from the mall or any of the stores in it to get a bus. The new Zellers front door is right where the front door of the old K-Mart was.

As to driving to and from stores, I know people who would go to Sears and then drive over to Zellers so they would be closer to the door when it was a mall.

And as to the looks of the building, most people could care less so long as it is the store they want and they have the price they wanted to pay.

In 40 years, they will want to tear it down and someone complain that it should be save as a fine example early 21st crap construction!
