I disagree. Campus Suites, The Vue, and the Barrett campus are all furnished student housing projects that will likely be 90% vacant during the summer. That is NOT the direction I want Washington St to go on. Both downtown Phoenix and Tempe struggle enough during the summer--Tempe more so--and the aforementioned projects just compound the problem.
Grigio Metro is the only one that will include a variety of fulltime residents and I do see projects like that coming down the line on Washington St. As an aside, Grigio is all luxury apartments and I tend to prefer more mixed income developments anyway.
