disclaimer: i am all for the olympics and i think SOME of the protesters true idiots.


HOWEVER, i would argue that supporting the olympics (either for or against) is a political view. Public declaration of one's views is supposed to be tolerated here. But I think ICU's visiting workplaces, neighbours, family members etc is a bit much, rather scary and something that belongs in North Korea, not Canada.

I heard on CKNW that these ICU people are targeting/investigating pretty much everybody that sent a letter or whatever complaining about the olympics (ie costs....) even 80 year old senior citizens.

I would be unnerved if an ICU agent was talking to my neighbour or boss about me
