I was in Northeast Austin yesterday too. Out on 183 near MLK. Good god, the view from 183 out there is amazing. You can hardly recognize the skyline. It literally looks like a different city. The shape and size of the skyline is really different from what I'm used to with all the usual views I see. The view with The Austonian crowning over the trees from certain points made me think of certain views of Houston. I snapped a photo, but it didn't come out very good since it was from the highway and getting dark. I'll have to go back again sometime with the tripod and really get some photos. The view of the skyline at sunset crossing the river at Montopolis was stunning.
I see you got the Buda elevators too! Crazy shots from Pflugerville and Round Rock. That's really far out. And the Texas Monthly Office Building is showing up nice here. Too bad the design couldn't have been better for such a prominent spot.
