I am surprised the Robson pedestrian mall extends west (Jervis?) as far as it does, and I'm surprised the Granville pedestrian mall doesn't extend south past Helmcken. The plan looks good though, I especially like the signal optimization on Taylor Way in West Van.

I am surprised to learn of the extra northbound lane in Whistler from Function Junction to Lorimer Road. For one, I have no idea how they are going to do this. The road is only two lanes for 90% of that distance and the shoulders are tiny. They haven't started ANY construction whatsoever to build out room for an additional lane either. Secondly, if they are building out a temporary lane, why is it only temporary??? It would be awesome for them to have another lane, especially considering the Hwy 99 improvement project ends at Function Junction and the upgraded road will narrow to the existing road through Whistler. Function Junction will become a bottleneck. I was surprised the road wasn't widened to Lorimer road in the first place!
