Then, over time, it grew on me, to a point where I love the design because it's nothing like anything else in this city, or the country, or the continent for that matter.

I had the same reaction at first, but grew to love it rather quickly. This museum has huge potential to raise the visibility of Winnipeg around the world, and bring in tourists. I'll certainly be making a trip just to see it in person. In the mean time, it's going to be fun watching this take shape.
