Everyone seems to think that the Olympic Games, or even the Winter Games for that matter, are some massive expense and organizational prep that we can't handle. Reality check: we are by far the largest/most populated Winter Games host city in history.

Interesting fact there:
"Reality check: we are by far the largest/most populated Winter Games host city in history"
And also ,
"adding the Canada Line and Sea-to-Sky highway as Olympic costs is a complete bogus"
That is also a fact that I dislike the most....we needed those upgrades and
new sky train even if we did not host the Olympics. Those are essential
infrastructures for us and we needed them no matter what. It is totally
unacceptable to add those into the budget...what do they have on their
minds? I wonder...
