This drives me nuts. Vancouver has had the games for 6 years and these guys still won't move on. Everyone had a chance to say there bit. We even voted on it. Guess what? Most people want the games here and may want the games in Chicago. (Check out ticket sales in the first phase for 2010.) And if we didn't have the games, homelessness would still be growing, the areas being gentrified would still be gentrified, private security would be increasing to fill the public policing shortfall, and a whole host of other issues.
