It is a great idea. Betty Fox is a wonderful lady and a wonderful Canadian citizen. I would much much much rather have an "ordinary" citizen light the flame. We put too much worth on fame in our society. It is much more refreshing to celebrate the achievements of ordinary Canadians and their families.
