I seem to recall the SLC Temple going through an extensive renovation (20?) years ago, and, at that time opened to the public before the rededication. I realize that most of you may have been just born around that time, so cannot fault you for not recalling the event. Then again, at my age I could be also imagining the entire thing. (sigh)
