The last I heard no one or a vehicle has been injured or damaged....yet.... but that can change in a flash. What if a small child falls down. Especially with the frigid temps right now
Police are warning mischief-makers they are endangering others, not being funny, after a number of manhole grates were removed in the town.
Haldimand OPP say the incidents happened before Christmas in the Church-Shering-Elm street area in Hagersville.
"This is extremely dangerous for vehicles and pedestrians," police said in a press release. "This type of mischief can cause serious damage and injury.
"If you see a suspicious person fooling with the manhole covers, please contact police."
Police ask you call 1-888-310-1122 if you see something unusual.
