Celebrate the first anniversary of our bi-monthly discussion series, Designs on Portland. This evening’s topic is, how does a good architecture firm survive its founder? Have your questions, comments and ideas ready for a conversation with Portland Architecture blogger and author Brian Libby (www.portlandarchitecture.com) and Thomas Hacker and David Keltner of THA Architecture (www.thaarchitecture.com). Hacker is regarded as one of the most important Portland architects of recent times. He started his career working for the legendary Louis Kahn, and while at the University of Oregon, he taught other prominent Portland architects including Brad Cloepfil and Rick Potestio. Noteworthy projects include several Multnomah County libraries, Atwater Place at South Waterfront, Mercy Corps World Headquarters.
