Sounds like this project has alot of flexibility and he's got alot of 'outs' if the market goes one way or another.
Having DiIanni on board gives him more credibility as well as Stinson. It will be good for his political career to win back the support of some of those he alienated while in office. If he takes a personal stake in downtown through this project that would make me more confident in his intentions if he were to enter city politics again.
Some of us will be accused of being hypocrites or wishy-washy or whatever for cheering on Larry's project, but I don't think that's the case. Politics is all about being friends or enemies with someone at any given time, whichever drives your agenda. Personal gripes have no place here. We all knew he was a good leader and businessman, we just had to oppose what he was using it for. We also knew he was one hell of a fundraiser, and as long as he's still on top of his game there, this scheme might just go through.
