Back when the UO team was announced one of the local news stations did a few stories about the staduim choices and cited the historical status as a reason why they couldn't make the stadium work.
That's unfortunate that intentions have changed according that article. That'd be a terrible place for a new sub-division, it wouldn't fit in at all.
