My largest issue with the development is building houses directly adjacent to King George Highway. Because of the traffic on that arterial, I promise you that the developer will erect a wall along the roadway to minimize the noise issue. Not only does putting up walls isolate the people into a "walled garden" type situation, it also does not make for a pedestrian-friendly walking environment. Plus, King George should be a commercially-lined street. Why have townhomes, when we could've had a multi-level, mixed use development with commercial on the ground, and residential above?

At least its not single family homes so at some point in the future the site can easily be densified. To build what you want we would have to possibly wait for another decade or more, now at least there is something there. And being crapy wooden townhomes im sure their life span will be nice and short.
