I think the height of the buildings are already topped out (but I could be wrong). They're starting to add the metallic skin to the Grand Avenue side of the building.
The crazy architectural structures have their actual structures up from what I can tell, and they still have to add the facades.
Luckily I live a couple blocks away and get to see the progress almost daily. Grand Avenue is going to be really interesting once the Grand Ave Project breaks ground.
They still need to get rid of that Burger King (Lucia Tower), and the city should do something to improve the pedestrian experience over the 101. **sigh**
