I think the location of The Summit is key to my opinion that it will help add vitality to the area. Its on the end of the entertainment district that has some fun now and will hopefully undergo some massive development in the near future
It is right between two world-class sports venues and will have a light rail station just down the street. Oh yeh, if they manage to get the
W hotel built at the proposed site, that will bring in a lot of highly paid atheletes with their entourages to throw some money and some energy around the district. Its a critical mass thing for this particular location. I think its going to at least create a pocket of urban vitality until the rest of downtown can catch up.
