As a continuation of our urban development strategy, Peachtree Group will soon begin construction on a shovel-ready 480-key dual-branded Embassy Suites and Tempo by Hilton in downtown Austin, Texas, one of the fastest-growing urban markets in the United States. The project is uniquely positioned as the only non-luxury hotel expected to deliver in the downtown market over the next ~5 years, creating a favorable competitive environment.

Hotel demand is expected to increase materially as the Austin Convention Center doubles is redeveloping and doubling in size, reopening to coincide with the hotel’s delivery. In addition, the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is undergoing a major expansion, further supporting growth in both business and leisure travel. Together, these drivers are expected to create a favorable supply-demand dynamic as lodging demand is projected to increase 20–30% over the coming years.

The project occupies one of the premier sites in downtown Austin, featuring the city’s highest rooftop bar with panoramic views of downtown, the state capital, and Lady Bird Lake.
