It's seems like all recent proposals at Yonge & Eglinton are around 60 storeys (tying into a previous page post) and the lot coverage (for the tower) is only around 50% compared to 75 to 80% for other proposals. Personally, I would call "very agressive" too kind but, the whole neighbourhood is attempting to warehouse a developing world population in wall to wall and ever increasing flashy tall towers. Anyways, the density with the reduced lot coverage vs height works in the framework for the future neighbourhood.

If there's a place for zombies to spring to life and retaliate on the living than it's this exploding population of Midtown Toronto with a graveyard for their big park.


Every proposal being over 60 storeys to me suggests that the 2026 recovery won't be as impactful as everyone hopes. Site specific zoning has no expiry date so, if you're not going to build anytime soon, you may as go for the moon.
