Related to Fundy Quay, I recently noticed how derelict and vacant the upper floors of the Jardine Building (home of Gahan) is, on both the Prince William and Water sides. Boarded up windows! Kind of surprising, seeing as it has a ~4,200sf footprint and on each of three floors. You could get a dozen large top-end apartments in there.

Fire code issues relating to second egress? Asbestos? I can't imagine it's the cost of sprinklers, electrical, and plumbing keeping this empty. It's got to be more complex than that.

Union Station is above Gahan and it’s quite nice. Wondering if it’s just the windows that need replacing. Also I know there are high end apartments in one of the other derelict looking building beside it - you can see the fancy chandelier in the window walking along PW. But yes I agree they are an eyesore now with everything around them getting fixed up.
