I'm still astounded how much infrastructure attention Riverview Drive receives as a street with very, very few housing units. That extension has been on the city's list for a long time. From my perspective, it's part of improving Reversing Falls and giving tourists more of an experience in the surrounding area and an accessible path to view the falls from, while also linking up Harbour Passage to the west side.
There are other items in the capital budget around viewpoints and trails for Reversing Falls, and I am generally supportive of this, as it's not in the best shape.
