Well, there is this the building at 1 Grosvenor Street in Toronto, called IMMIX Condos, which has a ghost facade at its podium of a former hire hall.

I recall there's another project that incorporates this ghost facade technique too, maybe in Kitchener or London. (And I think there's an example of this in BC as well)
