The rumour was based on past press releases and lobbying (see lobbying registration link above that clearly lists Port SJ) by Ionway, a joint venture of Volkswagen’s battery maker, PowerCo, and global technology and recycling company Umicore.

I hope the project is still in play; I think it would be a great opportunity.
