This is a puzzling decision considering BXP and Moinian's current hudson yards joint venture is a hole in the ground and they can't get an anchor tenant. They certainly took the opportunity of this press release to advertise 3 Hudson Boulevard looming overhead what will be built here. Will they fare better at attracting a hotel investor? I find that not so easy to believe. But the powers that be apparently do.
