Metrolinx is building new dedicated platforms for the Lakeshore lines which will enable 45mph speeds in and out and have an actual, modern width platform enabling passengers to disembark and board much quicker than currently.
Should shave a few minutes off travel times for Lakeshore line customers once complete and enable more frequent service on the lines.
