The two buildings apparently have grown substantially. Now 22 & 26 floors. Based on the comments made by Tower Spotter below, they would be 408' & 438' or so, sharing a common garage, with three underground levels. It will also be adjacent to the TMC Transit Center for the bus & METRORail Red line.

In the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Capital Expenditure Plan Report dated September 2022; there is talk about the forthcoming MD Anderson Ambulatory Clinical Buildings 2 and 3.

Both in footprint, and dollar value, these 2 buildings are very impressive. Believe it's 2.5 million square feet and nearly $2.5 billion in cost.

The buildings are said to start construction in July 2024.

The MD Anderson Prairie (the former site of the Prudential Building and a surface lot will be removed in the process. It will connect to the existing low-rise Duncan Building & Mays Clinic.

Out for bidding!!

The taller one is set to be 26 stories with a height of 438 feet. At full build-out it will be 3.1 million square feet, Phase 1 includes 1.9 million square feet.

This will be massive, imposing at street level. The METRORail Red Line will go right next to it when passing Fannin Street. This also extends the Holcombe Blvd skyline!

MD Anderson does it again. Let's go!!
