This was a major problem. They could have hired a better firm (rather than internal) and got more people on board. There's just no detail here and it doesn't give a good impression that there will be good activation -- it makes us (and the city council) assume the worst. That being said, I think this is probably better than most of their other facilities. The plaza space in the middle is great. What the renderings showed me is a hospital would be phenomenal in that area. The city council needs to be careful that they don't try to turn a hospital into something completely different or they'll lose the project. They are going to have to meet IHC half way.
That being said, IHC needs to be smarter. I just can't believe they didn't anticipate the kind of pushback they got.
