Those are insane prices for mainstream, mass produced beer. I had to check to see what Moosehead goes for in BC, and it's about the same price as Ont/QC.
Yet I can buy a 15 pack of Parallel 49's craft lager for $21.99. Supporting a local brewery,
and it's far cheaper? No brainer.
