For the same reasons they are desperately trying
anything to stop Sen̓áḵw – literally anything at all – they will not give up here, at least not until the first shovel goes in ground.
Doesn't mean they can do anything to stop this now. But one thing's for sure, this development proposal will forever be a case study in how people with power, money and time at their disposal can abuse process to try to impose their will on the rest of society. The number of times this has been delayed, reworked, and reworked, and reworked. We are years behind now and I just think of all of those people who could have had a place to live in that time.
