Transportation planning is abysmal in this city. We compensate turning subway stations into town squares for tall vertical suburbs instead of building more subway stations. We remove lanes of traffic on every multi-lane street for bike lanes whether it makes sense or not while adding tens of thousands of underground parking spaces. We prioritize right exit lanes over left turn lanes on high volumne bus routes. Are we all that surprised developers are getting away with promoting elevator speed over an effective number of elevators?
