There are no wasted air rights, something isn't overpriced if the open market determines its price, and any tall building, by definition, displays some degree of vanity and ruins someone's sightlines.

I'm also never clear why people speculate on the relative usage. How is this relevant? The eventual buyers contribute the exact same in city property, mansion and transfer taxes whether they're permanent shut-ins or never set foot in the property.
